Salem Lutheran School provides regular opportunities for their students to practice leadership, service and generousity. Every year our teachers and students look for ways to actively live out our values in our community.
Salem's fourth grade class wanted to make an impact in the lives of those who are in need. They put together blessing bags for the homeless. They assembled 50 bags and each student was able to take home 4 bags to keep in their car for the opportunity to bless someone in need. Items were purchased and donated by the students families and Trivent Action Team dollars. Our students demonstrated one of Salem's key values: living generously.
